Many common chronic diseases can be kicked to the curb with lifestyle medicine. These diseases include excess weight, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, and over 100 other conditions.
Without an evidence-based lifestyle doctor as a mentor, few are equipped to separate fads from evidenced–based science. The few that manage to understand the science often find that changing habits present an insurmountable hurdle to success. As your mentor, my goal is to help you make the transition. Often these changes require changes to long-held habits including in diet, sleep, stress management, and exercise.
